Freelance Art

This can be a very challenging area in which to find work. The cliche of the starving artist does have some truth to it. However, if you are willing to work and have great skills you can make an excellent living as a freelance artist.

The term "freelance art" covers a lot of ground. A freelance artist could be an illustrator, a graphic designer or a portraitist. They could prefer serious subjects or do their best work in areas with a more lighthearted approach.
